We are pleased to submit our proposal for the rewinding and repairing of the Sullair Screw Air Compressor motor. Our workshop is equipped with advanced tools and experienced technicians to ensure that the repaired motor meets or exceeds OEM performance standards, thereby restoring your compressor’s reliability and efficiency.
Motor Inspection & Disassembly
Record motor specifications (HP, voltage, RPM, frame size).
Inspect rotor, stator, windings, and insulation.
Check bearings, shaft, and housing for wear/damage.
Burnout & Cleaning
Remove old windings using temperature-controlled burnout process to avoid core damage.
Clean stator slots and laminations.
Core Testing
Test stator core for hot spots and lamination short circuits.
Repair or replace damaged laminations if required.
Rewinding Process
Use high-grade enamel copper wire (Class H or F insulation).
Insert coils with proper insulation liners.
Perform varnish impregnation using vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) for durability.
Bearing Replacement
Replace both drive-end and non-drive-end bearings with OEM-specified bearings (e.g., SKF/NTN).
Rotor & Shaft Work
Check rotor balance; perform dynamic balancing if needed.
Polish shaft journals; repair/replace if worn.
Electrical Testing
Insulation resistance (Megger) test.
Winding resistance test.
High-voltage withstand test.
Reassembly & Final Testing
Assemble motor with new gaskets, seals, and fasteners.
Test run at rated voltage and load.
Measure current, vibration, and temperature rise.
Fully rewound and tested motor.
Service report with test results and photos.
6-month warranty on workmanship and rewinding.
