Leroy Somer AVR R726 – Automatic Voltage Regulator Module
The R726 is a modular control unit designed to enhance AVR systems by adding advanced paralleling and power-factor control capabilities. When integrated with compatible AVRs (such as the R438, R448 or R450), it enables functions like voltage equalisation and synchronised operation with the mains or other generators. 

Key Specifications & Features:

• Supply voltage (SHUNT mode): 100-150 V, 50/60 Hz at X1-X2 terminals. 

• Voltage sensing capability: 0-110 V (95-140 V), 0-220 V (170-260 V), 0-380 V (340-520 V) (selectable). 

• Max output: 120 V DC up to 10 A for 10 s. 

• Operating temperature: approx. –40 °C to +60 °C.

• Primary functions enabled:

  • Power-factor (cos φ) regulation for parallel mains connection. 

  • Voltage equalisation (U = U) prior to coupling. 

  • Generator paralleling capabilities. Compatible AVR systems: R438 LS, R448, R449, R129/R128A, R130 (depending on configuration).
