Surge arresters HY5WS-10/30 6000V（ Equivalent to ОПН-П-6)  are designed to protect the equipment of power supply systems from switching and lightning surges.The arrester is a support-type protective device consisting of series-connected metal oxide varistors without series or parallel spark gaps, enclosed in an insulating housing. The surge arrester provides effective protection for low-voltage overhead lines, distribution transformer substations, and residential and industrial building branches. This arrester is installed in a 50 Hz AC network with an isolated or compensated neutral.
