We are pleased to present our proposal for rewinding and/or repairing the motor used in your CompAir Screw Air Compressor.
Our service restores the motor to original OEM performance while ensuring efficiency, reliability, and extended lifespan.
All work is performed in compliance with IEC standards and CompAir specifications by experienced motor repair technicians.
A. Initial Inspection
Dismantle motor from compressor.
Visual check for coil burn marks, insulation breakdown, or bearing damage.
Electrical tests: insulation resistance (Megger) and winding resistance.
B. Disassembly & Cleaning
Complete dismantling of motor.
Removal of burnt/damaged windings.
Cleaning of stator core, rotor, and housing with industrial-grade solvents.
C. Rewinding Process
Rewind stator with Class F or Class H enamel copper wire per OEM design.
Install new slot liners, wedges, and insulation.
Varnish impregnation by Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) method for durability.
D. Mechanical Overhaul
Replace bearings with SKF/NTN premium bearings.
Repair or machine shaft journal if worn.
Dynamic rotor balancing as per ISO 1940 standards.
E. Final Assembly & Testing
Assemble motor with correct torque settings.
Perform high-voltage test and phase balance check.
No-load run test for vibration, noise, and temperature.
Motor rewound to OEM specifications.
Brand new bearings and seals installed.
Final test report with insulation resistance, phase balance, and vibration readings.
Warranty: 6 months on rewinding workmanship.
Major shaft replacement.
Frame or end-shield replacement due to cracks (quoted separately).
VFD/starter repairs (can be quoted separately).
