The Basler DECS-100 is a microprocessor-based digital excitation control system designed for brushless synchronous generators. It delivers ultra-precise voltage regulation, full configuration flexibility and advanced features for industrial and commercial power generation applications. With built-in support for AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation), FCR (Field Current Regulation), VAR (Reactive Power Regulation) and PF (Power Factor Regulation) modes, the DECS-100 adapts to a wide range of generator control strategies. It includes programmable soft-start, voltage build-up from residual voltages, paralleling support with droop and voltage-matching, current and voltage sensing options (single- or three-phase), communication via RS-232/PC for setup and monitoring, and protection features such as over-excitation limiting, under-excitation limiting, loss of sensing and under-frequency. Ruggedly built for generator-set environments, the DECS-100 is encapsulated for harsh operation and engineered for long service life.
