The Basler AVC63-4A is a rugged, analog automatic voltage regulator (AVR) designed for brushless synchronous generators operating at 50 or 60 Hz. It delivers precise voltage control from no-load to full-load with regulation better than ±1 %. The regulator features frequency compensation, automatic voltage build-up from residual voltages as low as ~6 V AC, over-excitation shutdown protection, and built-in EMI suppression. With a continuous DC output of 4 A at 63 V DC (252 W), and short-term forcing capability up to 6 A at 90 V DC for one minute, it is ideal for generators from ~5 kW to 100 kW. The fully potted design ensures reliable long-term performance in industrial generator installations.
